kvats 2.2

The kvats VoIP Multimessenger is now available for testing. This is not yet the final release.

• Windows

  • Download kvats 2.2v1.0 RC1 release (.exe installer, 13 MB, Date: 26. August 2008).

• GNU/Linux

  • Binary package for all distributions soon available.
  • You can build your own kvats for Ubuntu / Debian following the instructions in the forum.

• Mac OS X

  • DMG package soon available

Here is the list of known bugs (beta release 01 August 2008). We are still facing some stability problems, inherited from WengoPhone's codebase. We are continuosly improving the software, see our changelog and what we are currently working on. 

Register for a SIP account with "kvats mit A1" here (only available in Austria). Enter the voucher code 80000012 (use until 31 December 2008 for a 6 months testing phase) to activate VoIP. You may need to log off and log on again, so that it connects correctly the first time.

Certainly, you can use kvats also to manage your MSN, Jabber or Yahoo accounts and contacts.
